The seventeenth century old city, built for the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan is today surrounded by modern Delhi where migrants from all over India have settled. About 5,000 Tibetans, after having arrived in India in exile, have made their home in a small area on the bank of River Yamuna.

We will explore the Old Delhi on cycle from Delhi Gate to Chawri Bazar while crisscrossing in and out of history as the tour take us into the ruins of the once glorious city, comprising of the impressive congregational mosque, Jama Masjid and an imposing citadel, the Red Fort (Lal Qila), Chandni Chowk (the moon-lit bazaar) which is undoubtedly the busiest market of India today.

But we must move through time from the past and come back to the present. We will experience the Delhi Metro train and Eickshaw ride and visit the laid-back Tibetan colony. train and enjoy the breakfast there.

This tour completes the experience of Old Delhi in true sense, lifeline (Delhi metro train) of Delhi and Little Lhasa of Delhi.
